Lens Gears (Cinevate)

Description: This is an aluminum two piece lens gear. The price is for one gear with five sets of set screws. 9 ring/screw sets are available for sale. The price is for one ring/screws, As shown in photos. It was made by Cinevate, which recently went out of business. It has standard 0.8 pitch gears. It was a nice 10mm wide meshing surface to easily align with your follow focus. ID of the ring is 90mm, OD is 110mm. There are fives sets of set screws with lengths varying from 6mm to 20mm (all dimensions are rounded). Three "grub" or set screws hold the inner and outer rings together, once the inner ring's screws are adjusted to fit the lens. The 5 set screw sizes allow these to fit a wide variety of lens barrels. I would not recommend these where you are constantly swapping these rings onto different lenses, as it takes a few minutes to change - your AC will flash you some looks :). But, if these are going to live on a lens for a while, these provide superior precision follow focus movement compared to rubber or plastic lens rings, which can have play.
