Description: W-69 New Today retail value on this is over $500 So this was something that was purchased back in 2022 and never installed You receive would have shown in the photos This is a 200 amp alternator for the Cobra There are instructions to help you modify the mounting bracket and to decide what pulley is needed for the correct RPM Please note the pulley is critical for the correct amperage of this alternator So please look at the photos to see the quality of your purchasing and look at the photos of the installation You will receive this actual alternator I will secure for shipping and guarantee it to be working condition for 30 days I'm not the original owner of this alternator so I do not have any other information as far as a warranty from the manufacturer Description KMJ High Output Alternator Kit For 03-04 Cobra Fits 03-04 Cobra Available in 130A, 200A, 250A Available in natural, powder coated, or polished finish Includes "Big 3" wiring upgrade kit There is a very well known shortcoming with the 6G alternator of the 03-04 Cobra system. KMJ fixed it by offering a larger case, for improved cooling and more efficient production of power. The larger case acts like a heat sink allowing more heat to be shed. However, the larger case does require some clearancing on the alternator bracket. This alternator does NOT come with a pulley and the OEM Cobra pulley is not appropriately sized. You will need to purchase a Metco Motorsports brand pulley that is appropriately sized for your crank pulley combo. There is a photo above of the chart to help you properly spec the pulley for your car. You can purchase those pulleys from either Modular Head Shop, KMJ Motorsports, or Metco Motorsports. The "Big 3" wiring upgrade kit is a must for any charging system, but especially with an upgraded alternator. This wiring upgrade will allow more current to flow more easily to all of the components drawing energy. This will give your electrical system a more consistent voltage, regardless of the demands.
