When I looked at the materials of this dress, polyester, viscose, and spandex, I was even more surprised. I do launder all clothing that is pre-owned, and decided to take a chance. I washed it on "Hand Wash" gentle cycle by itself. Removed it from the washer and so far, so good. Threw it next into the dryer by itself, and it was perfect. ***The stripes on my photos taken as a full shot of the dress, seem to look wavy. The close-up photos show what the garment actually looks like. All lines are distinct, and the pattern of the lines match as they should. A beautiful, no-fuss, slip-on, zip up and you are ready to go dress. I think it will quickly become a favorite go-to for spring and summer wear. I was surprised to see belt loops as no belt was available, but I don't think one is even needed.
