I along with my wife Cindy and many other fans met John Lennon at the charity event in Philly and at one point John was signing a small tablet of blank sheets of paper handed to him by a WFIL staff person. John signed each coupon on the blank side one by one as he stood behind the police barricade. He shouted over and over to the gathering crowd "Money...Give me Money... That's what I want!" J.L. Everyone donated what they could afford handing John a dollar and John Lennon signed anything that you handed to him. We donated to the charity and John handed me this coupon he had just signed right in front of me. It was a bright sunny day John was happy and so were we fans. You can ask anyone who attended the event...we (Philly) all were having fun together for a worthy cause helping handicapped children. John was very nice, very funny and ....very human, that was my impression when as a kid/ Beatles fan meeting his hero.
