Description: This is a very old WOODEN PLANE Body (No Hardware) passed down from my Grandfather to my Father to me. One could argue that the Silhouette shape seen in the place of the removed hardware is similiar to the outline of JESUS CHRIST. This type of illusion is referred to as Pareidolia. VINTAGE BRAND: Sargent V-B-M No.3415 ANTIQUE OLD VINTAGE Small Wooden Plane Body No Hardware The markings on it state that it is a "SARGENT V-B-M No. 3415." (See photo). While the body is well used and has been chopped up a bit it is still sound. No rot. No cracks big enough to threaten splitting. No musty or bad odor at all. Someone has sawed off one end to keep it clean(?). Great looking antique wood. Size is 2-5/8" Wide 1-1/2" high. Length is 9-1/8" (Inches). . Boxed weight is nearly 2 Pounds.
