JEAN OF SCOTLAND 1940’s NORA WELLINGS OR TYPE ALL CLOTH PAINTED MASK FACE CUTE

Description: Hi, This auction is for a sweet Nora WELLINGS or Nora WELLINGS type doll named Jean of Scotland dressed in brown, black and tan tartan plaid. Nice details to her clothing. A white blouse with lace down the front layered with a velvet vest. Kilt is the brown plaid pattern, with a matching crossover scarf. Plaid bow at her neck and a round shield shaped button or pin on the shoulder of the scarf. White socks with black felt shoes with silver buckets on the toes. My favorite accessory is her beret or tam hat complete with tiny feathers on the side. Measures 9” tall. The previous owner had attached a tag that has Jean of Scotland on one side and 1937 on the other . Lovely molded cloth face with hand painted features. Her hair is curly red or auburn mohair has a couple of thinning spots under her beret. Her body is a velvet type fabric , is stuffed and is still solid. Painted features are in good condition. She has overall light soiling especially her hands and her blouse down the front and one sleeve. No smells. Still a darling Outlander looking for a new home.
