Description: For your consideration is a WWII era Imperial Japanese Navy plate. The plate features a fouled anchor with a chrysanthemum flower in red with gold colored stripes around the rim and well. Made by Nagoya Seito Kaisha (which later became Meito) on the back, it also features a crown and various marks. This particular pattern was used in the Senior Officer's Mess. The plate measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and is as close to mint as one would find. This is not souvenir china. This china is the actual dinnerware used by the Japanese Navy. Excellent piece of rare militaria so don's miss out. Several of these rare plates available so combined shipping is available. We ship US Priority Mail ONLY!
