Along with Caravan, HATFIELD & THE NORTH seemed to be poised to be the next big thing from the 70’s Canterbury rock scene in England. Both of these re-releases are digitally remastered and expanded editions with 6 BONUS TRACKS between them. The British Prog/Art rockers recorded just these two albums (for Virgin Records), Hatfield And The North featured former Caravan member Richard Sinclair, keyboard player Dave Stewart, guitarist Phil Miller & drummer Pip Pyle—basically an all-star lineup of artists that influenced a whole generation of music. These two releases are regarded as two of the finest albums in The Canterbury genre, the debut S.T. album from 1973 also featured guest appearances by Geoff Leigh of Henry Cow & Robert Wyatt, who sang guest vocals on the track Calyx.
