SIDE 2 track 3and 4 there is a visible smudge but it does not affect the sound quality, track 1 has a light crackle on the quieter parts and for these reasonsI had to rate the sound quality as VG, not VG plus. This is a 1960 Mono recording so this record is65 years old and is not flawless but as I listened to the tracks I dialed the treble down and selected tone defeat which masks the light crackle and I realized that Gene Ammons is an incredible tenor sax player and if you are a fan you’ll want this one.
