Description: From the August 1941 issue of Fortune Magazine. The Portfolio of Posters was to help stir civilian mobilization. This poster by French graphic designer, Jean Carlu, was made for the United States war effort. Carlu was a modernist graphic designer who designed advertising posters during and after the war. Reverse side has a small paragraph of text for another one of the posters. Measures 14" x 11 1/8" Very Good condition. Small 1/4" closed tear at right margin edge and small 1/2" closed tear at lower left edge. Top and bottom right side corners have a shallow fold. Light toning. Very Clean and Bright!
