Description: Mix of various items, mainly from Europe. Items range from WW1 to more present era. I will describe these as possible; however, I don't know the history of some items. **ADDED: WW2 German Red Cross pin. Intact. Last photo. First is a Journee du Poilu medal. These were sold in France during WW1 to raise funds for French soldiers. Most that I've seen have December 25, 26 date on the back. This has "RF". I believe there were several fundraising drives, and various medals (with the same design and relief on the front). Next is the medal with a U.S. type marking on the front (flaming bomb); however, Caxius do Sul is located in Brazil. I don't know what the other markings are for. Appears to be missing a backing (not pictured). Next is a trinket from Maier Gust'l beer house in Frankfurt Germany. Looks to be pre 1950s era. Above the trinket is a top bar for a medal. I do not know the country of origin nor the purpose of the medal. Top could read "CFE", "CEE" or some combination of those letters. In the top right portion of the photo is a Germany pin. I assume this is U.S. and could have been on the ribbon of a medal. Button from Royal Canadian Air Force. I don't know if the other button is from a military uniform, or if the button is from a foreign country. Flag buttons and a trinket from Goppingen Germany. I don't know the purpose of these items. Buttons made in Lisboa Portugal. Lastly, this is a rather unique item. WHW glass token from interwar or early war Germany. Marked "Heinr. der Luwe" for Heinrich der Luwe (Henry the Lion). It is easier for me to cut/paste the description that to try to describe it myself (description is translated from Polish museum which I cannot link to in Ebay):WHW glass - is a well-known abbreviation among collectors of these trinkets. Their proper name is Winterhilfswerk - a work of winter aid. They were distributed in the 1930s and 1940s. From October 1939 their name was extended to include "Kriegs", that is KWHW. The purpose of publishing these collections was street fundraising for the German population. They were issued by various organizations, e.g. German craftsmen, as well as military formations such as: HJ, SA or SS.The so-called "winter tires" are various miniature items. Issued in series in thousands of copies, they were suitable for collecting and exchanging between children. Some series were distributed throughout the Reich, others only in a specific area, the so-called "land". These were: badges, plaques, figurines, books, postcards with topics ranging from fairy tales to fascist propaganda. The material from which they were made was also diverse. We meet, for example, plastic, glass, wooden, amber or metal objects.
