Description: Five Balls Filtes King "Van Dyck” yarn - Green With Subtle Light Green Twist. This is a very pretty yarn of mixed content. It is 46% wool, 39% acrylic and 15% alpaca. The color is a sort of lettuce green, with one or two twists of a lighter green with the darker green. It is a very subtle combination. The yarn is by Filtes, from Italy and is a bulky weight. Each ball is 100 grams or 3.5 ounces and is 117 yards. This gives a total of 585 yards. The gauge is 11 stitches to 4 inches on a US size 10 or 11 needle. It is color number 165. Dye lot 44. I believe I bought this yarn to make a cowl I never made. I don’t know whether this yarn is still being produced or not. Hand wash only.
