Made in 2023. The "American Vintage" series, commonly known as Amebin, is a reproduction of Fender's historical models with the same charm as they were at the time. The "American Original", which was discontinued in 2018 and newly launched by Fender, was well received, but in response to requests for the reproduction of Amebin, the "American Vintage II", which was released in October 2022, was reborn as the second installment of the former "American Vintage". With a body shape, neck, hardware configuration, premium finish that faithfully reflects the specifications of the time, and pickups that are voiced by era and have been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, this guitar condenses the essence of genuine Fender craftsmanship and tone. From the late 1950s to the early 1960s, Fender products dominated the market, and even as the guitar lineup rapidly diversified, the Stratocaster still reigned at the top of popularity. In 1961, the Stratocaster took on a more refined aesthetic, with a more vibrant red and bold black trim in the 3-Color Sunburst model, and a 3-ply pickguard that accentuated the Stratocaster's curves. The American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster features three Pure Vintage '61 Stratocaster pickups and a 1961 "C"-shaped neck with a 7.25" radius slab rosewood fingerboard, recreating the tone and feel of the original model that existed in 1961. It also features premium specifications such as the Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, Fender Deluxe tuning machines, and a 3-ply pickguard. Developed to celebrate Fender's iconic guitar shape, the American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster features an alder body and three nitrocellulose lacquer finishes: Olympic White, 3-Color Sunburst, and Fiesta Red. "American Vintage II" is a series for players who love the tone and feel of vintage Fender, faithfully reproducing the guitars and basses that built the foundation of Fender. The guitars and basses that have created the history of music are revived with modern technology. The finally arrived Amebin 2 Stratocaster comes in three models: 1957, 1961, and 1973, and each one seems to be reproduced in great detail. Even though they have the same C shape, the 1961 "C" and 1973 "C" have completely different grips and pickups, which shows Fender's attention to detail. It certainly seems to be more accurate than the past series called New Amebin. Many of the recent reissue models from custom shops use a 9-inch fingerboard radius, but this model uses a 7.25-inch radius like the original. After all, this fingerboard radius is essential for reproducing past models. This model is still available as a new one, so it is recommended for those who are considering purchasing a new one.
