Description: Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings miniatures, Middle-Earth Strategy Game This listing is for a sealed, new-in-package Fellowship of the Ring miniatures set, produced by Games Workshop. The box contains the entire Fellowship of the Ring as depicted in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings films. The miniatures are very good likenesses of the characters and, if memory serves, had to be approved by the actors before production began. These classic metal miniatures were originally produced for the release of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring film in 2001. They were for use in the The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game and are still usable in the current edition of the game, now called the Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game. They could also be used in many other Fantasy tabletop wargames or RPGs. This kit has been replaced by a plastic kit and has been out of production for a while. It is currently hard to find in a factory-sealed box. I plan on sending this via a USPS option that includes a tracking number.
