The coil came from a magneto rebuild shop and when they rebuild magnetos, they always put brand new coils in them. The bad coils are scrapped and the good take-out coils are sold. I bought a lot of coils and will be selling them here on eBay. These coils fit about 90% of Fairbanks Morse type J, X, Z, P, E and other mags. They also go on Allis Chalmers, John Deere, IHC, Case, Wisconsin, MM, Oliver, Continental, Lincoln SA Welders and many more. You will receive a coil that is similar to the ones pictured here. It may be red, green, brown, black, etc., depending on my stock.
