This listing is for an October, 1972 issue of DERRIERE LE MIROIR, Aime Maeght publisher and gallery owner of Galerie Maeght in Paris, printed in France, featuring artist PIERRE TAL-COAT. (Pierre Tal-Coat was a French artist considered to be one of the founders of Tachisme. He left a remarkable body of work in painting, sculpture and printmaking.) The unbound book is complete (31 pages), with the double page cover lithograph image and another double-page lithograph on pages 12-13, and additional color and black & white images (pages, 2, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20). The text are extracts from Pierre Tal-Coats correspondence. The final 7 pages feature black & white and color photo images of Tal-Coat's work by Claude Gaspari. Everything is in very good condition (there is a tear on the bottom "spine" of the cover joint--see photos), the soft cover book measures approx. 15" x 11". When packed SECURELY for shipping the weight is 2 pounds. Please pay close attention to photos for best description of condition AND see similar items I have listed.
