This listing is for an April, 1972 issue of DERRIERE LE MIROIR, Aime Maeght publisher and gallery owner of Galerie Maeght in Paris, printed in France, featuring artist JEAN BAZAINE. (Jean René Bazaine was a French painter, designer of stained glass windows and writer.) The unbound book is complete (24 pages), with 4 lithograph images that are double-page (that includes the covers). There are additional lithograph images but due to the nature of the images I am unsure if they are all meant to be individual (7 images). The text is by Marcel Jouhandeau (Extrait de "Essai sur moi-meme". The last 8 pages feature photos of Bazaine's work by De Claude Gaspari and Christophe Laurentin. Everything is in very good condition, the soft cover book measures approx. 15" x 11". When packed SECURELY for shipping the weight is 2 pounds.
