“Daisy Chain” Spring Dress and Pinafore Set for Patti Playpal Dolls

Description: It started with a vintage embroidered trim that was tucked away in a fabric shop. The owners looked happy to get rid of it, but I saw it as a treasured find. Buttercream cotton with a chain of daisies embroidered on a repeat with green stems. When I saw it, I knew it was meant for Patti Playpal, perfect for her era and that I could design something beautiful around it. This outfit starts with the daisy chain pinafore which is made of crisp organdy, with a full 90" skirt that flares out, ruffled sleeves and a tie bow back. Pinafore snaps in the back closed. The front pinafore bib is decorated with the vintage daisy trim on buttercream cotton and then accented with white floral trim with woven in yellow satin ribbon on both edges to create a centerpiece. The underdress has yellow floral that is relatively concentrated on a white backdrop, although you can't see much white peeking through. Floral clusters are interlaced with green stems and leaves making it a perfect match to the embroidered daisy trim that is in yellows greens and white borders. The dress has no collar as to not obstruct the pinafore's center front design, puffed elastic sleeves, and a full 90" skirt. This dress is shown over a petticoat (sold separately). Dress snaps closed for an invisible look. This dress is designed for a Patti Playpal doll and is appropriately made to have Patti dress with ease (children's clothes of this size are harder to get on the doll as Patti's arms don't bend).
