How do I install the vent filter into the register? To install remove the vent deflector and any vent cover. Grab the vent register from the floor and pull up. Flip the vent register over insert the filter between the grates and the vent. Reinstall the vent register with air and replace air deflector. Can these vent filtes be washed? These vent filters are not designed to be washed. They are engineered to be replaced every 30-60 days depending on the environment in which they are used.
