It has a thread-on cap with matte finish and our custom stainless-steel fill nipple. It fits Crosman 2240, 2250, 2260, 2300KT, 2400KT for PCP and bulk-fill conversions, also makes a nice upgrade for PCP models like Benjamin Discovery, Maximus, Fortitude, Marauder Pistol, 1720T and 1701P. For PCP and bulk-fill conversions it requires a PCP or bulk-fill valve, for PCP models it's a simple upgrade part. It can be installed and removed by turning it with a 7/16" wrench, deep-well socket or adjustable wrench on the hex-lug of the fill nipple, do not over-tighten, just snug it down lightly lightly as far as it will thead in. If too tight the nipple may unthread while trying to remove the adapter and will need to be resealed with thread tape. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE A FILL ADAPTER WITH PRESSURE INSIDE THE AIR TUBE, ALWAYS DEGASS AN AIRGUN BEFORE PERFORMING ANY WORK ON IT !!!
