Description: This Raven carving was made with a chainsaw and power tools. It is carved from laminated yellow pine, meaning multiple boards glued together, therefore there are visible seams in the carving with one particularly noticeable one in the back of the carving. This can be seen in the photos. The carving has been sealed in multiple coats of polyurethane and should be kept indoors, or outdoors under a covered porch roof. The dimensions are roughly: 16" tall, 6.5" thick, and 5 inches wide. As the carving ages, a bit of checking (cracking) may occur. Cracking is a natural and common occurrence in wood carvings.
