Description: Carved conch shells from the early 1900s, exact date unclear in our family history. These were lamps - the wiring was removed at some point, but the bases are still in fine shape (see the holes from the photo). One shell unscrews easily from the base; the other does not. The shells are in terrific shape all around - no wear on the carvings or shells. Artist unknown.
