The entire top gallery section is removable and breaks down into three pieces for transport. The desk and bottom cabinet are one piece. This wonderful Burl Walnut Victorian Slant Front Desk with Bottom Cabinet has exquisite details and would be the perfect accent piece for any room of your home! The top of this charming Burl Walnut Victorian Slant Front Desk/Cabinet is graced with a fancy gallery that consists of a handsome raised Center Shield Burl Panel that is graced on each side with sconces and raised horizontal burl panels that provide the perfect accent for the beveled edge top display shelf. Another raised burl panel is found beneath the top shelf gallery. Elegant carved Whale Tail sides support this lovely gallery. The charming slant front desk door is adorned with a lovely large raised burl panel and has an intact lock with a working key (this key also works the bottom cabinet doors). This charming slant front lift top door opens to reveal a new black felt writing surface that is in excellent condition. Plenty of storage is found inside of the slant front compartment. There are eight side compartments and three large center file holder compartments. Speaking of storage, this charming desk also features a beautiful center dovetailed drawer which is graced with an elegant raised burl panel, brass ring pulls, and has an intact lock and working key. Below the beautiful center drawer is a cabinet space for even more storage. The bottom cabinet measures 26 ½” in width, 18 ½” in height and 13” in depth. These two bottom doors are graced with elegant raised burl panels. The right door has an intact lock and the key that works with the slant front desk lid also works with this right door.
