Norway Spruce Hardy 7-10 year field transplants Fast growth to 75 or 80 feet in height. Spread 35 to 40 feet. Dense, dark green needles never get longer than 1 inch. Thrives well in average soil conditions, but prefers moisture in the soil to maintain its deep green color. Highly valued ornamental and timber tree. One of the best conifers for shelters and windbreaks, as its branches grow densely into one another. For planting a windbreak, these trees should be planted 6 feet apart. Customer is responsible for proper transplanting and care. We will replace trees under the following conditions. 1. Damaged in transit by shipper: We must be advised of any damage upon receipt of the item. Photos and written documentation required. 2. Damaged upon receipt claims: We must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. Claim must include photo and written documentation. 3. All other claims must be made within 14 days from the date items were received. There is no need in most cases to physically return items, however photographic evidence of claims being made will be required in order to receive a replacement item or in store credit. In general any faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us if taking photos of the claim does not provide solid proof of claim. If you are returning the items for any reason other than being damaged or dead or for an error on our part then there will be a 20% restocking fee. We have no responsibility if we are not notified immediately of any defect upon receipt. We primarily ship in the Spring and Fall. Spruce and other seedlings ordered after November 30th will be shipped in late march through June 30th. Orders Place after June 30th will be shipped in the fall beginning late September through November 30th. Please note eBay shipping date may not necessarily be the exact ship date. We can not control the weather or ground conditions. Spring shipping usually begins March 21 through June 30th. Fall shipping usually begins around September 21 and continues until November 30th weather permitting All trees are shipped bare rootWe are still shipping trees. Understandably, Due to recent events we have been experiencing some delays with USPS Priority Mail. There are logistics of your tree shipment for out of Pennsylvania orders. Trees are perishable so to avoid the possibility of your package sitting in a postal facility or vehicle over a hot weekend while not in transit we are only shipping out of state orders on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Also ALL out of state orders are certified by the Pennsylvania Dept of Agriculture to be pest and disease free which usually happens on Tuesdays. So if you place an order from another state Monday night it may not get shipped until the following Tuesday. In some instances I can get inspected later in week as well in that case shipping will be on a Saturday or Monday. If there are any problems with your order please let us know.
