In 1985 they took over Smith & Wessons leather goods, continuing to make holsters for them. Soon and other big name gunmaker's holsters were made under contract from G&G using their styles, materials and workmanship. Gould & Goodrich is not as well known as other makers but produces very well made items from top materials in their 50,000 SF factory. Seems like half of what they have made goes out under a different companies logo, but the quality is the same whether it bears the G&G logo or another. This is for a NEW, with tags quality made GOULD & GOODRICH brand police style duty holster in PLAIN BLACK Leather Finish. This is Light weight, HIGH RIDE style MODEL B819. It is a soft clothes police duty holster, which can handle and optic and or a tactical light. It can also be a concealment holster under a longer coat or shirt. It features quality finished LEATHER, heavy stitched on the stress areas with a smoothed and finished seam for a professional look. Wet molded so it holds its shape. This makes for a fine looking and lightweight holster. This model has a SMOOTHED & COATED INTERIOR, covered inside snap. The holster has a high ride belt loop, 1.75" wide and can be worn STRONG SIDE, or CROSS DRAW.
