Description: Vintage Asian carved Soapstone This came to me with a large collection of similar sculptures, some dated as far back as the 1910s, and others not dated. This sculpture is undated. This sculpture shows a wide, thin brush pot with a leaf/plant detail on one side, and an ornate base. Could be used as a brush pot, toothpick holder, etc. or simply as decor as-is. Beautiful detail. The color is sort of a mottled beige/tan throughout with some natural splashes of black. Due to the nature of Soapstone there will be discrepancies in the texture, color, etc. with small fissures, scratches, and the like, but there is no damage to disclose. In excellent vintage condition all around. Measures approx 3" wide, 1.75" high, 1" deep
