Description: Art Deco Crown Devon 'Modane' coffee/tea highlighted in glorious gold. The main color is a dark red with the inside of the cups, the edges of the saucers, the handles and coffee pot knob coated in lustrous gold. The whole set is elegantly shaped. Made by Fieldings in the 1930s in Staffordshire, England. Measurements~:cups: 2 1/2in wide, 2 1/4in tall. saucer: 4 3/4in in diameter. coffee pot: 8 1/4in tall to the knob, 6 1/4in from handle to spout. creamer: 2 3/4in wide, 2 1/4in tall. The set is in very good condition. I noted some crazing to the underside of 4 of the saucers and the underside of the teacups.
