Description: Up for sale is a genuine Rochester General Store center draft oil lamp that has been converted to electric. It has a gorgeous milk glass shade. It is equipped with a 3 way switch, and had the just under 4" across the fitter chimney. The lamp measures approximately 21" to the top of the chimney. The large milk glass shade is approximately 14". The hurricane shade is 12" tall. These lamps were not only for light but also for heat as they produced a good amount of it. I believe this is the Mammoth Rochester as pictured on page 342 of Thuro's book "Oil Lamps" first edition. Thanks for Looking!!!!
