Description: antique old Chelsea Grandmother Ware cake dinner plate 1830s-1840s grape violet/purple measures about 10 1/8" across at handles, by 9 1/8" has anchor mark on back good condition with some flaws. a few little browning spots. some nicks in glazing on front that are brown. brown area on side rim. utensil marks/scuffs/scratches. some other little flaws from manufacture. no cracks. not bad for a 180 year old plate visit my Ebay store bunch of old Stuff for lots of great stuff location: ebay room, gray plastic shelf Peace.
