We just picked up a few dozen antique salt and pepper shakers with many of them being painted and unpainted milk glass. Most of them are not sets, so if you're a collector and/or you need a replacement or a matching shaker to complete a set, feel free to check out our other pieces available. As always, we are happy to combine shipping and only charge whatever the quoted rate is based on total weight.Now onto the item for sale. For sale is an antique, milk glass salt shaker.As you can see, this shaker has a maple leaf design.Although this shaker isn't marked, the lid and shape is identical to many pieces on here made by the Mt. Washington Glass Company.We'd imagine this shaker was hand painted when it was made and we trust some of the artwork has worn off over the many decades.You can see and feel two seams in the glass which is seen on EAPG.The lid does show its antique age, but we trust it could be polished. In case you missed it, a small section between three of the holes does appear to be missing, but it is shaped like a heart.The top of the shaker is two pieces with the top piece screwing onto the bottom piece that is firmly attached to the shaker.This shaker stands just over 4" tall with the lid on and has a 1 5/8" diameter.All in all, this shaker is in really nice, antique condition.
