Antique Early 1800's Large Staffordshire Pearlware Leeds Floral Pitcher Sweet

Description: For Sale we have a early original 1800's beautiful five colored Pearlware Soft Paste Leed's Staffordshire handled pitcher. This pitcher was produced in the Leed's England Staffordshire district. This large beauty is a rare five colored example with a folky design encompassing the entire surface of this early handled pitcher. This pitcher is in an attractive barrel or tankard style form. This is an early 1800's example and its engine turned. This is a fresh to the market example in original untouched condition. The design is folky floral design with flowers leaves and your early style open tulips seen on these earlier examples. The glaze and colors are still magnificent on this pitcher, being bright vivid and glossy throughout this entire piece. The typical blue glaze pooling is seen throughout the pitcher. The handle is in excellent condition with no issues. The height is approx. 7". The condition is also excellent with no chips, cracks, spider lines, deep scratches or scuffs. There are no repairs or alterations and no heavy staining. We only see some very lite spotty and scattered roughness on the spouts opening. We see a small area of discoloration on the bases edge and some spotty discoloration on the inside of the pitchers base. There is also some light crazing on the piece. We also see a few scattered thin lite usage marks when examined in bright light. We pictured these areas and mention them for complete accuracy. This is a amazing example in appearance and condition. This is a great early survivor in original untouched condition and it's a beautiful looker with a pleasing early form.
