Description: A full skirted antique original Victorian 1860's dress. It is made of brown figural silk that has a tiny check pattern. The dress has a dropped shoulder line. The neck, armsyes and waist are all piped. The sleeves cuffs are trimmed with brown velvet and ruffles. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The dress front has brown decorative buttons. The skirt hemline is decorated with a wide band of brown velvet and three layered ruffles. The skirt is fully lined with cotton. The dress is in good and sturdy condition. There is some mild underarm discoloration mostly to the inside lining. There is a split on one of the bottom skirt ruffles and a couple of small pea size holes on one of the other ruffles. Shoulders 19 Bust 34 Waist 24 Sleeve length 19 Length 54 Width at hemline 126.
