Description: You are invited to bid on an antique c.1920’s cosmetic compact. This metal silver tone compact features a machine turned design on the exterior top & bottom with a cartouche in the center of the lid where an engraved monogram could be placed if you want. No monogram is there now. The compact has a chain tassel and a woven wrist handle. Inside the compact is a mirror and a removable pan for a cosmetic cake. This compact is 2 1/2” by 2 1/2” by 3/4” deep. I don’t see any makers name but on the bottom of the cosmetic pan is Kendall’s Patent Plate - Patented August 8, 1916. Condition: Lots of tarnish indicating that maybe this is silver plate but I am unsure so please consider it as silver tone. Everything seems to be in good shape. No cosmetics or puff pads included. Mirror is in good shape with just a couple of spots on it. The cartouche on top does not have a monogram. Item is being sold as is. Nice little collectable survivor. I appreciate payment in 48 hours.
