Description: Offering this great antique stoneware canning crock made in Greensboro, PA circa 1875. This crock features a decoration of flowers on the front that some collectors refer to as daisies. In addition there are two blue freehand stripes at the top of the canner and one at the bottom. This is a 1/2 gallon size crock - it is 8 1/4 inch tall x 4 1/4 inch across the top x 5 1/4 inch across the base. Please review all the photos - very good condition with no repairs. In the photos you will see a shallow fingernail size chip on the underneath of the rim on the back of the crock. Also - on the right side base there is a glazed over in-the-making rough spot. This is one of the nicest looking examples of this decoration I have seen in a long time. If you have any questions please let me know. There is no reserve on this crock.
