Description: 5 Matching antique Art Nouveau Tiles - T & R Boote Majolica 6x6 Tiles. The tiles feature a beautiful floral pattern of what I suppose is a tulip. The flowers, gold and pink against a dark purply, maroon background with green leaves. The tiles are made using the Majolica pottery technique. My mother bought these authentic antique tiles in the 1960s , salvaged from the 1900s . English manufacturer T. & R Bootes produced these tiles. they have beautiful colors and have some crazing, of course, in the glazing The tiles show normal age and use wear with minor light scratches to surface and minor edge chips (see pics) but are otherwise very solid
