The FoxBat-8 also utilizes dual eye pieces to reduce eye strain and comes with a tripod to reduce fatigue both of which are ideal for long viewing sessions. The combination of an advanced Gen 3 image-intensifier tube with an auto-gating function, all glass multi-coated optics, and extended viewing augmentations makes the FoxBat-8 perfect for applications such as hunting, nighttime nature observation, home security, and even scientific projects. For uses involving moonless/starless nights or in environments of extreme darkness, the FoxBat-8 features a detachable long-range IR illuminator to provide a light source beyond the visible spectrum and allow the user to operate undetected.
