Description: SIZE: SMALL/ MEDIUM ARTIST:- SYLVESTER SAMANYANGA This lovely sculpture is hand-carved from a single piece FRUIT SERPENTINE by 3rd Generation SHONA artist, SYLVESTER SAMANYANGA. His pieces sell world wide and it's easy to see why. His attention to detail and the expressive nature of each piece is breath taking. 'When sculpting I use hand tools; hammer, punch, diamond rasp, chasing hammer and chisel. My favorite stone to curve is Springstone, Opal, Cobalt and all Serpentine. I have sold my works to the UK, China, Canada and most European countries. My ambition is to be known worldwide like other big artists and travel around the world demonstrating art. I am married and have 3 children, two girls and a boy. During working my wife helps me with ideas, sanding, rasping and polishing.' Would look fabulous in any home or garden setting.
