Description: A2 style leather flight / bomber jacket with hand painted WW2 nose art, squadron patch and shoulder patch. "Vini, Vidi, Vici" (I came, I saw, I conquered.) I personally painted this jacket myself. The jacket is based on an original jacket belonging to W. E. Crumley, a P-47 Thunderbolt pilot of the 509th Fighter Squadron / 405th Fighter Group / 9th Air Force in the ETO. I have included a photograph of the original jacket. I don't know the manufacturer of this jacket as there are no tags. I'm guessing it is a 1990's vintage jacket. The size is a men's Medium with a 40" chest. See photos for exact measurements. The jacket is in very good condition. Certainly a unique addition to any collection. Please review all photos in detail and ask any questions that you may have prior to purchase. Thanks!!
