With only 2 Services received in its Century timeframe any true Collector privileged to own this exquisite example of Horology History would immediately move to have her Inspected, Cleaned & Oiled without hesitation. This Timepiece has been in my Personal Collection for over 15 yrs so the next Caretaker can protect and care for her for many more years to come! NOTE; The Illinois Watch Company was one of the premier American watch manufactures. It was founded on December 23, 1870, in Springfield, Illinois by John C. Adams, John Whitfield Bun, and various additional financiers. Twenty years later, Jacob Bunn, Jr. took over and ran the company until his death in 1926.
