Description: For sale is an set of seven Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges, France 9.5" porcelain plates produced for the Davis Collamore Company of New York City in the early 1900s. Top surfaces feature a double border of gold weaving vines with flowers in between; interestingly the back of the plates also have a gold border along the bottom rim. These are marked both with the green Ahrenfeldt stamp (an entwined CA over "France") and a red retailer stamp for Davis Collamore & Co. Ltd. Good condition for age - no chips, cracks, or crazing, but these are used plates with scratches to surfaces and some loss to decoration at the borders - included are pictures of each individual piece, please have a close look for the best sense of overall condition.
