This is EXPORT version of ZEISS Super Speed lenses named OPTON Oberkochen. Usually export sets were done for USSR or other comunist countries We do not know where Arri PL mount was done. We think set have genuine Arri PL mounts done by Zeiss We sell those lenses as a 'BASE SET' that can be renew by Optitek or Duclos. As far as we know all brand new front / back genuine Zeiss coating elements and full service of all lenses will cost around 6K USD. After this job, this lens set will be in brand new condition, as most glass issues are on front and rear glassesAll lenses are fitted with standard 0.8 pitch 360 degrees follow focus rings on focus rings and front 80mm external diameter rings on front to fit most matte boxes. All lenses have 77mm internal filter screws to use 77mm filters or other 77mm accessoriesThis set have METRIC and FEET scales This is rare TRAINGLE aperture version of Zeiss Super Speed lenses (named MK1). It can be checked how it looks / closes at three last pictures under item description This is 35mm camera format set for sure, but we do not know if it covers 4K, 5K or 6K digital format without any problems. Informations about coverage can be found in internet for sure We do not know if set match optically. This is mixed set, but with very close serial numbers ITEMS CONDITION: OPTICALLY: EXCELLENT- / EXCELLENT 35mm: there's NO fungus, haze, fog or separations inside optical construction; there's NO deep scratches or cracks on glasses; lens has some MICRO 'cleaning marks' on glasses coatings; lens can have few MICRO 'cleaning marks' inside optical construction; there's some MICRO marks/spots on glasses coatings; few pieces of MICRO dust inside optical construction; lens was checked on lens projector and it shows very good optical performance and gives flat image; we really do not know if those glasses issues affect on optical performance with camera, as we do not test it 50mm: there's NO fungus, haze, fog or separations inside optical construction; there's NO deep scratches on glasses; lens has MICRO crack on edge of rear glass (need to be polished / re-coated or full element need to be exchanged to make it look good); lens has some MICRO 'cleaning marks' on glasses coatings; it has micro backlash on aperture ring; aperture (clicked / de-clicked) switch works fine; aperture stops to the end without any problems; aperture blades with NO grease on them; lens was checked with manual Chrosziel follow focus unit and it is working fine; we think this lens is probably also good for electronic follow focus units 50mm: focus ring works in full range, but it works very hard now; to be clear - it is still working, but we think it need good service to work with follow focus units; there are no problem with focusing at the moment; aperture ring works smooth and fine; it has micro backlash on aperture ring; aperture (clicked / declicked) switch works fine; aperture stops to the end without any problems; aperture blades with NO grease on them; lens can't be checked with manual Chrosziel follow focus unit; lens is no good for electronic follow focus units at the moment85mm: focus ring works smooth, as good, as it can work in vintage lens; it has some scratches and some paint missing on it, as this is quite normal on old metal casings; lens scales are in good shape (feet in very good, metric in acceptable); it can have some micro dents, cracks and drilled holes on casing, which are just visual issues, but there are NO serious damages on lens casing for sure 50mm: there are just some MINIMAL to NORMAL signs of use on lens casing, as can be seen on real pictures below item description; it has some micro scratches and some micro paint missing on it, as this is quite normal on old metal casings; lens scales are in very good shape; it can have two/three micro dents, cracks and few drilled holes on casing, which are just visual issues, but there are NO serious damages on lens casing for sure85mm: there are just some MINIMAL to NORMAL signs of use on lens casing, as can be seen on real pictures below item description; Remember that all evaluations are always subjective. We are PRO Seller and we spend a lot of time to check and well describe every item we sell, so we think our descriptions are always honest. Generally this set is not in MINT or PERFECT overall condition for sure, but for us it is still in EXCELLENT- to EXCELLENT overall shape, especially that we sell this set as a 'BASE SET' for RENEW in good service to have BRAND NEW set. This set need some work with front / rear optical elements and some good mechanical service, but don't forget, those lenses are around 30 Years old, so they won't look like new or work like new. The most important is that Chrosziel lens projector shows very good flat images with every lens from this set at the moment. We do not check lenses with camera, but we always check them on collimator and lens projector.
