The stand has 96 holes that will fit 3/32" and 1/8" shank tools (or smaller), and is made of a nice hardwood with a clear finish which allows for easy cleanup. The dimensions of the stand are: 6" x 4" base, 1" high at front and 2" high at the back. The drilled bur holes are about 1" deep. The bur set includes at least 12 burs which are suitable for drilling a hole (up to 3.5mm.) into hard materials, such as gemstones or glass. I use the ball-shaped burs to sign my name to many of the tools which I hand make, running them in a motor tool. The diamond grit is approx. 150-180. Several of the burs are also perfect for reaming and carving on hard materials.
