Planting Instructions: To germinate Eastern Redbud Tree seeds for spring planting you need to soak the seeds in hot / warm water for 24 hours. Then give it a cold/moist stratification period of 1-2 months in your fridge. Plant the seeds 1/8″-1/4″ deep either in pots or the place where they should grow. The easier way would be to put the seeds in the ground in fall where you want them to grow and let nature do her own thing. Germination will occur in the spring.
