Description: Presented is a Boston Red Sox away baseball jersey used by former Red Sox ace and World Series champion Curt Schilling during the 2006 MLB season. His penultimate season in the Majors before announcing his retirement after the 2007 season, Schilling pitched to a 15-7 record in 2006 with a 3.97 ERA and 183 strikeouts in 204 innings pitched. The offered jersey features all numbering and lettering in tackle twill and has been signed by Schilling, who has penned his flowing signature in black marker above his nameplate on the back of the jersey. Schilling has also added a personalized inscription to former Major League southpaw Dontrelle Willis that reads "Dontrelle, Keep doing what you do! God Bless + Thanks!" A Majestic MLB Authentic Collection manufacturer's tag is embroidered across the jersey's front left tail above a white fabric patch labeled "38 52 06" in black numbering for Schilling's number, jersey size, and year, respectively. The jersey comes with an LOA from William F. Henderson (21-0305J06) for game use, plus a photocopied LOA from Dontrelle Willis for game use and signature. Additionally, the jersey comes with an LOA from JSA for signature. Please note that the item was recently authenticated by Beckett. The LOA will be pictured with this lot when it is received in our office; the document will be shipped to the winning bidder
