Description: Up for sale here is this set of 2 NOS vintage Russian K40Y-9 PIO oil capacitors, dated 1989 and Made in the USSR. These are glass-ended oil capacitors like the American Sprague Vitamin Q caps, and legendary for their sweet, clear sound. These are marked .1 uf 400v, and test extremely close to that. These are wonderful-sounding oil capacitors and will work great in your amplifier or guitar. It's very hard to find these .1 caps at the 400v rating. The body of each cap is about 1.25" long and 9/16" in diameter. Tip to tip measurements are slightly over 3.5 inches. Please see my pictures for details.
