Description: This vintage pocketknife from Cattaraugus Cutlery is a rare find for collectors. Made in Japan in 1993, this knife features a drop point surgical stainless steel blade that is under 2.75 inches long. The bone handle is jigged for a secure grip and the knife is operated manually with a unique bone engaged locking style. I’ve attached a photo example of A.G. Russell’s ‘CM-17 Mediterranean Barlow’ blade which should illustrate how to close this beautiful blade! The A.G. Russell/Cattaraugus brand is known for its quality craftsmanship and this original, factory manufactured knife is no exception. The knife has a plain blade edge and comes with one blade. This vintage knife is a unique addition to any collection and is sure to impress. Although this knife is new, never carried or sharpened, there is a small rusting spot near the back liner of the blade. I’ve included photos (near the end) for your consideration. My pricing has reflected this minor defect. The knife overall is in gorgeous condition and one to stand out in your collection. I am not a knife dealer, I am simply listing knives that have been in my personal collection. Please checkout my other knives as I have a decent collection of Case XX knives as well as other brands. All new with boxes. Thank you!
