Flag carrying citizens parade across a bridge, superimposed by three upraised arms, one holding a red Soviet flag with a yellow hammer and sickle.The printer's information is found on the lower left corner which shows the copyright for 1986. The rolled poster is unframed and printed on medium weight , not heavy, paper. The poster measures 38" in height and 25 1/2" in width. There is minor creasing at the top edge and slight bumps to the side edges. Each corner has two small evenly spaced holes from a staple. Overall the printed poster is in very good vintage condition. ProvenanceJoAnn Ruth CarpenterJoAnn Ruth Carpenter, nee Brenner (1932-2016) was an educator, painter and thespian in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her father Henry Brenner (1903-1987) was a partner with his siblings in the San Antonio store chain Solo Serve founded by her grandfather Isidore Brenner (1874-1952) in 1919. The first store was located at 114 Soledad St. one block from the famous San Antonio Riverwalk.Her aunt Anita Brenner (1905-1974) was a noted journalist who established an international reputation for bringing the artists of the Mexican Renaissance, including Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo and Jose Clemente Orozco, to the New York art scene.
