Description: What a great 1986 Sawgrass TPC memorabilia piece coming out of my living estate sale today, which just became quite rare. This is a 28" x 22" sealed and signed limited edition lithograph of the actual 1986 clubhouse poster board that was placed at the annual Sawgrass Tournament Players Championships from I believe 1984 to 1987. It was the idea of then Sawgrass clubhouse manager Tim Davis. When Tim retired from Sawgrass he was given the set of original player and official signed poster boards. He then ran a sealed, signed and numbered limited edition of 1,000 lithographs from each year to make available to the general public. Whether on purpose, or by accident, his son destroyed all remaining copies that were in his father's possession and is currently selling the 4 original poster boards for $4,000. It is a true who's who of golfing greats who signed the original board. Headed off (Naturally) by 3 time winner Jack Nicklaus and all ten prior champions. The lithograph is accompanied by the very descriptive COA issued by Tim Davis.There is no way to know how many of the original edition of 1,000 ever became distributed, but in any case it is a very rare and limited offering for what many consider to be the world's 5 major championship. No way to really determine fair value as you won't find one for sale anywhere else.
