The coverage area includes Norfolk, Newport News, Portsmouth, Hampton and portions of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. The map was published by Exxon for distribution in 1973 and is dated in the legend. It is copyrighted © MCMLXXII (1972). The code number on the back cover is W972. On the front cover there's a portrait of the company's tiger mascot sitting in front of two Exxon gas pumps.
