Description: Sought after year and variety coin, the 1972 Denver Mint penny! The D Mint mark is visibly re-punched 3 times. It is not the massive split version, but there is doubled die visible throughout the letters and very much so on the date. The reverse also shows doubled die throughout the letters as well. There is a few die chips on the coin as well so multiple Mint errors. The color is RB Red/Brown and looks to be in AU-MS but I am not an expert so please review pictures to determine and verify. A 1972 Lincoln Memorial Penny from the Denver Mint with a red-brown color, featuring a tripled die error on both the obverse and reverse sides. This coin is composed of 95% copper and has not been certified. It has varieties of DDR, RPM, and DDO, making it a rare and valuable collectible item for coin enthusiasts.
